Burning
Permitsare required anytime we do not have snow cover. If conditions are very dry there will be aban on burning. Burn barrels are ellegal. To obtain a permit contact the Clerk or Chairman. You will be instructed on the steps to contact the fire department and law enforcment dispatch center if your permit is granted. Pleas as first.. A minnimum fire call is $500 and you are responsible for that charge even if someone else calls in a fire that you have under control! |

2011 Budget meeting
Notice is hereby given that on Monday,
November 8, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. a public hearing on the proposed 2011
budget of the Town of Hay River will be held at the Hay River Town
Hall. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at
the Clerk’s office.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF HAY RIVER
Notice is hereby given that a special town meeting of the Town of Hay River, Dunn County, Wisconsin, will be held in the town at the Hay River Town Hall, N10655 Cty Rd F, on the 8th day of November, 2010 immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed budget for the following purposes:

To approve the total highway expenditures for 2011 pursuant to Sec. 82.03 of the Wis. Statutes.

To approve the 2009 town tax levy to be paid in 2011 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes.
Holiday dump day changes
The Solid Waste Colleciton Site will be open on Friday, December 24th instead of Saturday, December 25th
And open on Friday, December 31st instead of Saturday, January 1, 2011. Hours will remain the same.

Solid waste Fee:
Each household in the Town of Hay River will be charged $50.
This includes everyone with a dumpster. We have our
own site at the town hall. Anyone with a dumpster is your own
decision and considered a convenience. If, the fees are not
paid they will be put on your next year's taxes. Homeowners,
if you have rentals & your renters move out, check with the
Treasurer to see if they have paid. Payments are due March 9, 2011. Any payments after that will be charged
a $10 late fee. (2009)
